With the legalization of hemp and hemp-derived products in many cities and countries across the globe, you’ve probably seen an even bigger spike in acronyms you need to know to stay in the know.
There’s CBD, CBG, THC and Alpha-bisabolol-say what?
Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered.
If you’re ready to become your friends’ go-to guru for all things cannabis, CBD and hemp, check out this ultimate resource for everything you need to know about CBD, THC, CBG, CBN and more.
These compounds are present in our CBD oil. Known for support with healthy levels of inflammation.
This just means the THC has been taken out entirely but all the other beneficial compounds remain. (FYI, full-spectrum means something different).
Non-intoxicating, inflammation-supporting, antioxidant. Research shows that it offers major potential benefits for support health levels of anxiety, stress, sleep, and boosts your mood. ✨
Because our CBD oil has less than .3% of THC (more on that later), you can take it in all 50 states for a naturally calming, anti-anxiety and mood-lifting effect.
How you consume CBD oil.
For Hemple’s oil, we recommend taking 1-2 half dropperfuls under the tongue or in water.
The process in which CBD oil is produced.
Many CBD oil companies cut corners and end up producing oils that may inhibit and, in some cases, even reverse(!) the health benefits a quality CBD oil should provide.
For example, some companies use harsh chemicals like butane to extract the CBD molecules from the cannabis plant. Sure, this practice works extremely well for extraction, but it comes at a cost. Those harsh extractants can leave behind dirty toxins and dangerous resins … which I probably don’t have to tell you is not good.
That’s why Hemple developed the patent-pending technology N-Osmo, so you can absorb more of what you spend your hard earned money on.
When you’re purchasing CBD, look for products that say “full-spectrum” on the label instead of CBD isolate. A CBD isolate product contains only the CBD compound. That means it has been isolated from the other cannabinoids and compounds that occur naturally in the hemp plant.
In contrast, “full spectrum” means the product includes not just CBD, but other naturally occurring cannabinoids (like CBG and small amounts of THC), and terpenes and essential oils. On top of the health benefits, this makes for a richer taste and smell.
You might also see products labeled broad spectrum; this just means the THC has been taken out entirely but all the other beneficial compounds remain.
GLA (Gamma linolenic acid)
Acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory Omega 6 while encouraging skin growth and new cell generation.
That means getting the right amount of GLA helps maintain youthful skin, working hormones and supports metabolism.
Found in Hemple’s hemp oil.
Hemp seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the hemp plant. The result is an edible oil with a deep olive green color. The oil is thick, rich and nutty tasting.
And it’s loaded with good fats you want to consume as a regular part of a health-promoting diet. Hemple’s cold-pressed virgin hemp oil is rich with oils that can support your body from head to toe. It not only has nature’s ideal 3:1 Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio, but it’s been shown to support gut health, mental health, sleep health and more.
There are 43 million people in the United States affected by health challenges traced back to chronic or acute inflammation. In fact, inflammation-based health issues are on the rise. Nearly 350 million people worldwide are affected by health challenges traced back to chronic or acute inflammation.
Studies show that CBD and hemp oil have inflammation-supporting properties and can be a powerful natural way to tackle these issues head on.
One of the most common questions we get is … is CBD oil legal?
Cue The 2018 Farm Bill, an act that sought to make hemp an agricultural commodity, give states the power to oversee hemp production, and take away the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) authority over hemp. It was signed into law in December 2018, effectively legalizing hemp at the federal level by removing it from the federal list of controlled substances.
As a result, CBD from hemp is legal nationwide at the federal level.
Mother of All Cannabinoids (CBG)
CBG is much less abundant in cannabis than popular THC and CBD, but I like to say it acts like a “stem cell,” from which CBD and THC are formed. It does this by affecting both CB1 and CB2 receptors. It can also affect the body by increasing our endocannabinoid, anandamide which binds directly to both receptors.
Combined with CBD, these potent non-intoxicating cannabinoids create a holistic effect acting to both bind to our cannabinoid receptors and stimulate production of our own endocannabinoids to balance mind and body.
In other words, it can actually help you get better at naturally managing your own endocannabinoid systems. How cool is that?
Our patent-pending extraction system that uses clean, ultrasonic therapy to shrink CBD oil molecules. This process allows the CBD to pass easily through the cell wall for max potency and get to work, so you feel in control – fast. In fact, our CBD oil is up to 10x more efficient than a traditional tincture, so you feel good up to 10x faster.
Omega 3, 6 and 9
Essential fatty acids that can’t be produced by the body. But they can play a crucial role in anti-inflammation, skin health, anti-aging and is helpful for lowering the bad cholesterol and reducing inflammation in the body.
Hemp seed oil is the only oil to contain omega 3, 6 and 9 in the ideal balance for optimal health.
It’s clear the current health system and set of solutions aren’t working. And more and more people are looking for natural solutions to take their health into their own hands.
That’s where supplementing with a high-quality CBD oil can help. Studies have shown it can have powerful effects on the endocannabinoid system and a host of other health benefits including:
When it comes to CBD oil, the cheapest product is rarely the best. In fact, sometimes being too cheap can be an instant red flag that the company has cut corners or sacrificed the quality of the oil. Because the reality is growing quality hemp products isn’t cheap. In fact, it costs a lot money to raise each plant.
But when you don’t compromise on quality, that’s how you reap the benefits that CBD oil is known and loved for.
Sure, you know what relaxation is. But can you really say you’ve experienced it until you’ve tried CBD oil? Achieving a calm, anxiety-free mindset is one of the major benefits of consuming a CBD oil.
The trans-Caryophyllene and trans-Nerolidol compounds can help support this. The former is known for supporting anxiety and healthy levels of inflammation. The former is known for promoting feelings of relaxation. Both are found in our CBD oil.
Spray (as in, what the heck is a CBD oil spray?)
In addition to consuming CBD through traditional oil consumption, Hemple has created an on-the-go spray bottle.
Whether you’re in the car on your morning commute, grabbing a coffee at work or on your way out the door, this bottle makes getting your daily dose of CBD oil easier than ever.
Every bottle has 100 sprays and each spray gives a potent dose of 2mg of concentrated CBD oil. So you can give it a single tap and lightly spray it on your tongue or in water and instantly support your mood, your mind and whole body with an on-the-go CBD oil.
Intoxicating, psychoactive, responsible for the altered state of mind, but also has major effects on pain relief, anxiety, nausea, sleep aid and potentially even brain cell growth stimulation.
In order for a CBD product to be legally sold around the US, the maximum amount of THC allowed is 0.3%. This is the amount that is considered to be safe and free from the psychoactive effects of THC.
Typically, CBD bottles contain either 15ml, 30ml, or 60ml of liquid content, and each filled dropper will contains 1ml of liquid content.
To determine the amount of CBD that would be administered in a single serving, you can use a simple formula: Total CBD Content in Bottle ÷ Number of Servings in Bottle
For example, consider that you have a 30ml bottle with a total CBD content of 150mg. Using the formula above, you can determine the amount of CBD in each dosage:
150mg ÷ 30 = 5 mg per serving
Another way people consume CBD oil.
At Hemple, because we use our N-Osmo™ extraction system that shrinks CBD oil molecules with its clean, ultrasonic therapy, you don’t need a vape to consume our product.
Our process allows the CBD to pass easily through the cell wall and get to work, so you feel in control – fast. So you’ll get the fast and efficient relief you love about using a vape pen, without the vape.
Can be dissolved in water or other liquids.
Not all CBD oils are water soluble, which means you can only take ingest them under the tongue.
Hemple’s CBD oil IS water soluble, so you can add them to any liquid — like your coffee, tea, smoothies, or even our CBD-infused Rosemary Jane cocktail — and feel the effects much faster.
😴 More than a third of American adults are not getting enough sleep, according to the CDC. You know how powerful a good night’s sleep is. Not just for your energy, but for your entire life. We do, too.
CBD is one of the only natural substances with loads of scientific research suggesting that it can help with a good night’s sleep.
That’s why we’re so adamant about creating a CBD oil that your body can actually absorb. We use an extraction system that uses clean, ultrasonic therapy to shrink the CBD oil molecules. This process allows the CBD to pass easily through the cell wall and get to work, so you feel in control – fast. ✨🌈
